I’m happy dancing that you’re here today and can’t wait to show you around.
I know you’re a kind hearted, giving woman. You absolutely love your friends and family. But even more, you love life.
I’m right there with you! My favorite things to do are sip coffee, snuggle my cats, and spend time with my amazing boyfriend Jeramia.
But as a person with so much love to give, I know it’s easy to lose yourself in the craziness that is life. You’ve got your relationship, friends, family, work, and the all-so-important Target runs to take care of. How in the world can you make time for yourself?
As a fellow natural giver, I know it’s easy to forget that you’re a priority. I’ve totally been there. But that doesn’t mean we have to alway live like that!
My goal in life is to make sure you wake up every morning believing in your worth and knowing your value. I don’t want you to go another minute shoving yourself to the bottom of your priority list!
And how do I want to do that? I know we just met, so let me tell you a bit about how I roll.
I’m not going to send you basic quotes and tell you good luck (don’t get me wrong, I love quotes. But a quote with no follow-through? What kind of a writer would I be?).
Nope, I’m all about working through stuff together.
I’m believe that self love and self care should be practical lifestyles. Let’s ditch the days of self care meaning mani pedis and massages. No more constant repetitions of “buy this thing to show your commitment to self love.” That’s just not my style.
Why? Because I know this shit doesn’t freaking work. We are real people with real needs. You were not just put on this earth to be useful for other people. You’ve got to be there for YOU.
So, here’s where we get to the good stuff.
I AM about being your friend. I’m here to be a kind voice even when your own isn’t being so nice to you. I’m here to be a little buddy on your shoulder (or in your pocket on mobile) reminding you of just how valuable you are and showing you how you can remind that to yourself.
I’ll be honest, I’m no therapist or complaint dump for you. Constant negative thinking and self pity aren’t my style (and hey, if you’re with me this far, its not yours either! Webpage five!).
But I AM a person you can count on to be there for you and have your back (even when you don’t).
If we were to meet in person, I’d say let’s hit up the best local coffee (usually iced over hot for me or I’ll eat cappuccino foam with a spoon), we’ll browse Target, then split a large fries at your favorite fast food stop. Ah! Doesn’t that sound like the perfect friend date?
Ok, I can’t send you coffee and fries to your inbox (gosh I wish!). But, we can still hang out digitally! Every Friday morning, I’m sending fun emails from right here in beautiful Colorado. I’ve got love letters for you full of adoring affection (for you and your awesomeness), crazy spurts of happy dancing energy, and a few tips on practical self love.
